Having witnessed the dark side of fast fashion (chemical-soaked samples, shocking waste, minimal transparency, and underpaid workers) Alana knew there had to be a better way. She left to create a brand that would disrupt and redefine the fashion industry: TryKind. Alana spent 1.5 years living in India, building the supply chain from the ground up. She worked directly with organic cotton farmers, Ayurvedic dyers, women’s empowerment centres, and a GOTS & SA8000-certified eco-factory. This ensured full transparency, ethical labour, and environmental integrity at every stage, resulting in the first intimates brand to combine health, sustainability, and radical transparency. TryKind proves that clothing can be healing, ethical, and kind to both people and the planet.
